About Us

Located on beautiful Main Street in downtown Campbellsville, Auberry Funeral Home & Cremation Services provides a caring, comfortable, home-like setting that Taylor County and Central Kentucky has come to know and love for generations. The original and present home, of great historical importance, was built for State Senator and Campbellsville attorney Joseph H. Chandler and his wife, Araminta. Joseph and Araminta moved into their new home in 1873 from the home that is now known as the Hiestand House Taylor County Museum. In the early 1950’s, the property was acquired by Mr. Marshall Lyon. He moved the Edelen and Lyon Funeral Home from its location down the street into the Chandler House and renamed the business Lyon Funeral Home. In the 1980’s the funeral home was bought by Larry DeWitt and renamed Lyon - DeWitt Funeral Home. Daryl and Sharon Berry purchased the business from Mr. Dewitt and operated the funeral home until its closing in 2018. The home consists of many additions and renovations that helped to better serve the need of clients throughout the many years of service to Taylor County.  In April 2020 Don Auberry purchased the funeral home and renamed it Auberry Funeral Home & Cremation Services.  As a full service funeral home, we believe in offering compassionate care to those who call on them, all while providing the finest service at the fairest price. We invite you stop by and tour our newly renovated facilities and experience our true southern hospitality.
